Fundraising

Fundraisings primary role is to raise funds and equipment; as to the needs of the club, by sponsors/donations and events. The committee must also keep track of the transactions made in the club and to approve or reject proposals by other committees as to equipment or supplies that need to be bought.

Students

If you are a student and you would like to contribute to Plugged In in any way then a donation of a used computer could just make our lives easier. We understand that it's usually hard to part with such items so we will offer incentives according to what you have to offer. We encourage any other technological devices as well. We could also always use another hand.

Adults

Obviously you are trying to keep up with today's generation, especially when it comes to technology. So instead of throwing away that old 2005 CPU that you have lying in that dusty closet, you can donate it to us and know that a person is using it, and not a closet.

We also encourage donations that are up to date with the present generation.

Conferences

If you have a club that works for a similar cause, or a service community, or are working on technology that is user friendly; Plugged In woulld love to conference with you. We can arrange a place or a conference call where we can discuss and share experiences. We would also love to join any conferences that you could be having with similar groups of people.

Events

As an effort to raise money for our group we will occasionally hold events in areas where our branches are present. These events have a broad spectrum and will depend on what our club is looking for at that time

Presentations

Plugged In is always looking for new ways to make connections with people around the world. We want to share what we have to offer to as many people as we can, be it the teaching experience as a club member, or the experience of a student being thought. Thus if you would like us to share our experiences to your group (company, community, school), we will check if we can send a club representative, and prepare a presentation according to the audience.

Companies

When you take inventory and you notice that there are several computers not being used, then Plugged In is the place to send it. First of all the devices can now be used. Second of all we will have the name of your company labeled on the piece donated. Finally if your donation is big enough we will make you an official sponsor of Plugged In...what more could you ask for?
